My Brother got this for his son's birthday gift, we agonized over the cost vs would it last? 'His son wanted one that would drive over grass" as the kids want to take it and play with it in the park. After many reviews of cars, driving local, this one we felt was a good beginners in between cost and function vehicle.The day he received it they took it to the driveway and it was fast (I did already pre charge both batteries that came with it- they both had charge but we followed the instructions and charged them to full power), then they took it to the park. It worked great, there was speed and power over grass and rocks. [Exactly like the advertisement said] they even tested it out for a ramp jump - shocks worked good. Now for long it will last, who can say. It's been two weeks and it's holding up fine. RC cars always break, what we liked was the ability for replacement pieces. There was parts that came within. NOTE: 2 batteries were USB charger cables no wall outlet plug styles, so I recommend buying a surge protector outlet extender with USB plug ins included. These days its a must have anyway with phone charger cables, it is where the futures seems to be headed so why not have one anyway. Overall we were please that it lived up to our expectations.This is an awesome little truck. Had it about a week now and love this thing. Just got back into the rc world recently to spend some fun time with my 6 yr old who’s really getting into it. In the last six weeks I’ve bought 6 rc trucks. Got an Auftker fast one and it had so many problems from stripping gears to battery bloating and steering knuckle broke and I’m not rough on it like my son is so no excuses for what happened there. Anywho, this truck has been no problems. I haven’t even needed to turn the speed up all the way yet zipping I and down the driveway or at a play spot we went to got off roading. It has decent shocks and good tires. Only comes with one battery so buy more vid this thing is fun.On a side note, i got my son the brushed motor version with the blue body and it’s just as hood only not as fast as mine as it should be.Another side note, he has a Redcat volcano 16 and the ravage is better at handling dirt to better shocks i think. The volcano is a good truck too but my son broke three wheels off before i could upgrade the axles.For just having fun with the kids i don’t think you can beat this one and they won’t either cuz it’s really fast.In conclusionI think these are better than Redcat and Bezgar for the money. Not dissing them just saying i think this one rocks the best.Peace outMe and my cousins all have RC cars and we bash them up with each other. This one’s a champ, In almost 2 months only thing that’s broken was 1 headlight came out. We have 7 or 8 cars and we ram into each other at full speeds. Mine is the only one with no major damage (cosmetically the shell is destroyed but those are battle scars, so they’re to be expected)Awesome for the price. Very durable! I bang and crash it up. It still runs!!! It’s Really fast Not for beginners! It’s so fun to have and play. I’ve already purchase another one for my son.Very fast.have had no problems with it.batteries last plenty longHBX16889a. Very fast. Very tough. Very cool for kids as well. You can vary speed greatly so you and you little one can rest assured they won't have parents running for their lives. But if you want them to....it's there. If you want the PRO version (with upgrades...basically HBX16889a PRO) try the EACHINE Flyhal FC600 at Banggood. That being said I would recommend this truck. Buy 2 more batteries for sure.After 3 uses battery wont charge, not sure if it's the charger or batteries, trying to upgrade both. But over all fun little truck for everyone.
