This user friendly, battery operated remote can be operated manually from the transmitter (handheld remote) or with a timer set using the transmitter. The transmitter has four buttons; on, off, timer, and set. Use these buttons to manually turn the fireplace on or off, or have it turn off automatically by setting the timer. The timer can be set in fifteen minute increments, up to 3 hours. The LCD screen displays the room temperature in °F or °C. This system operates on radio frequencies within a 20’ range using non-directions signals.
